Service was comfortable, more than optimal. Felt more like Mom's Kitchen, then the Ritz or the Waldorf. That's not necessarily a complaint. Coffee stayed full. Coffee is very good. Been here a few times. Food is generally good. Working my way through the things that they put a little "horse shoe" on the menu, and that they're particularly proud. Sharon's hash browns with green chili on top of them were pretty good. Mushroom omelette excellent. "Those Potatoes" not really that special. Bathroom is not quite big enough to swing a cat in, but, I have to say this is the nicest toilet paper I've ever gotten out on the road. OPA for about 20 big rigs is available beside the restaurant. Flat, easy access to the restaurant, and a good distance from LA.
I went here for lunch my second time with my partner going on 4 years now 2017 on our way to California the worst place to eat. The first time I ever ate here years ago and now food was gross and still gross and the building was dirty and still dirty.
Quiet place to get home cooked food. Friendly staff and good food.
Food is good home style cooking. Staff is friendly. Don't buy the homemade jam. It is not good. The lady that makes It would not even come out of the kitchen to speak to me when I asked to talk to her about a jar I purchased. It was runny and. Did not taste like jam. Very rude.
